Our method and sources

Calcul TVA is an independent tool for Belgian VAT calculations. It does not represent FPS Finance and cannot determine the tax treatment of your transaction.

Amounts are calculated in whole cents. Rates accept two decimal places. Results are rounded to the nearest cent; exact halfway values are rounded away from zero. Net plus VAT always equals the displayed gross total.

The multiple-line table calculates VAT on each line, then adds the rounded amounts. Rounding on a total grouped by rate can produce a one-cent difference. Exports are simulations and do not constitute invoices.
